"Interest shown in Turkish Proficiency Test increases each day"

Turkish Proficiency Test specialist Hilal Bağcı marked that the interest shown in Turkish Proficiency Test increases each day, and stated the following:

"Turkish Proficiency Test is an exam developed by Yunus Emre Enstitüsü that is applied internationally. 4 thousand 250 candidates have taken the Turkish Proficiency Test to date as the first was applied in 2013, and 2 thousand 815 candidates have been qualified to receive Turkish Proficiency Certificates. Today, we held the second Turkish Proficiency Test of year 2017. 710 candidates participated in the test held simultaneously in Yunus Emre Enstitüsü centres in 29 countries and 33 cities. Applicants who successfully completed the Turkish Proficiency Test that measures four basic language skills (reading, listening, writing, speaking), will be qualified to receive Turkish Proficiency Certificates at B2, C1 or C2 levels according to their scores.”

Turkish Proficiency Certificate is a Great Advantage

Those who hold the Turkish Proficiency Certificate at the end of TPT, applied for Turkish to attain a standardized test on the international scale and to support policies that facilitate admission of foreign students, are exempt from Turkish Preparatory Class when they are qualified to receive education in any Turkish university. Turkish Proficiency Certificate provides a great advantage in job applications to individuals who wish to work in companies that operate in Turkey or their respective countries, who aspire to become a Turkish interpreter or teaching candidates who wish to teach Turkish abroad as well as students.

The last application date for Turkish Proficiency Test, held three times a year as the first was held on January 14th this year, was determined as August 12th. Students who learn Turkish as a foreign language, students who need to certify their Turkish skills for application and admission to universities in Turkey, prospective teachers who wish to teach Turkish at various institutions abroad, interpreters who want to certify their knowledge of Turkish, in short, anyone who wants to test their Turkish language skills can take TPT.
