Event Description:  Organised by the London Turkish Consulate General and Yunus Emre Institute in London, The 2. Turkish Community Art Exhibition will take place between 27^th of January – 17th of February 2020 in London. The exhibition aims to bring together artworks of UK based Turkish artists.

Following a successful event last year, the exhibition is amongst curiously awaited events. The purpose of the exhibition is to bring together amateur and professional Turkish artists from the United Kingdom and provide a platform to display artworks and network with other Artists. The exhibition aims to strengthen the bonds between art lovers and become a catalyst for the process of sharing experiences.

Participants are able to submit a maximum of 3 artworks. Deadline for applications is 20^th of December 2019 and participants will need to post their application forms alongside their art work to Yunus Emre Institute in London. Alternatively, for those who are able to commute to the Institution, application forms and artworks are accepted at the Institute during office working hours. Selected artworks will be announced on the 10th of January 2020.

The jury panel will be made up of Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in London Mr. Cinar Ergin, Yunus Emre Institute Director Dr Mehmet Karakus and UK based artists. After selections are made, chosen artworks will be exhibited at the Yunus Emre Institute in London.
